We aren't here to compete with luxury brands, as our clients are centered around the armed forces, law enforcement, and emergency responders. However we take pride and employ standards higher than most watch brands out there.
We started the Gunhild Watch brand in order to combine common and popular symbols & Characters from Scandinavian history into our military grade time-pieces. We combine never before seen designs with excellent watch making.
Our goal is to bring the love of Scandinavian history and mythology into Beautiful, durable, & useful time-pieces that will last you a last time and give you an out of this world experience that connects you to a the multi-layered history of age old Scandinavia.
We started the Gunhild brand to bring a fusion of Icelandic history and mythology with modern robust military and tactical style watches. While the trend of "affordable luxury" keeps going up, we go against the grain and are straight forward. There is no such thing as "affordable luxury" it's an oxy-moron. Any watch company out there claiming to sell you a time-piece based on that merit is using a pre-existing mold and re-hashed designs.
While our watches are more on the expensive side, we aren't shy to say we don't use any molds or mass production tools. We have pieces that are completely hand-crafted (skeppare collection) and we use precision german CNC machining on our berserker collections.
We employe two expert watch makers one being a third generation watch maker (Frank Lazimi) from Europe who allows us to keep our watches up to standard and the other being a veteran watch maker for Timex.
While most companies today are simply re-selling existing molds and designs we think out of the box with our designs and bring to you highly precision crafted time-pieces. You get what you pay for is exactly our methodology. We won't reduce our prices in order to mass produce over-seas and we would like to keep it that way.
All of our parts are made by individual vendors by hand or CNC in Ukraine, Switzerland, or Japan.

All of our pieces in the raider and berserker collections are tested up-to military grade standards. We use pressure testing where needed to make sure the time-piece you get from us won't fail you in time of need.
One of our Partners is licensed to use Tritium tubing and creating parts for the U.S Marines and Law enforcement agencies.
